26.11.05	Mige Interview 4 Habbohotel Mige did an Interview for Habbohotel.com. In the interview HIM’s bassplayer said that this tour would not be the first US tour but the biggest so far, They were talking about typical aspects for Finland, the name of the band, how Mige became a bassplayer, about his fav. American band which is besides Black Sabbath Type O Negative as well as about the Finnish rockscene. Regarding this Mige said: “It is a small country and that Bruce Dickinson from Iron Maiden said that Helsinki is a big city of rock. It is a small scene but a healthy one.” Further more they were talking about an heavy metal version of ABBA . Miges answer on the question if he would make a lot of misstakes while beeing on stage was: “I never do any misstakes, I just improvise.” They were talking about the charity gig in Memphis & that the band had the chance to have a look at the house of Elvis... Here enigmatic singer Ville Valo tells SFTW about their sucess at home and across the world. You are now known around the world.Does slowly building up your support mean you appreciate it more than if you were an overnight hit? The best part of being in the band H.I.M is the fact that we have been taking baby-steps towards greatness in a very patient way. We've got the Finnish Man's ethicc happening within the group,meaning that we'd rather brag of things after and not before. Your cover of chris isaaks Wicked game was a catalyst for getting attention early on. Is the song as special to you now as some of your own tracks? Basically we raped that particular piece of art in such a fasion that it became a bastard of our own. For us its a very positive burden, Like paranoid is for Black sabbath. Does your status as rocks Biggest Pin-up detract from the music or draw people into it? It draws people into the music like moths to a flame.It's never harmful to have the stench of erotic dreams and sweaty sheets emanating from your music. That's what spicy hot frontmen were born to do. Does your friend and champion Bam Margera ever pull any of his Jackass-style stunts on the band? He's a man of good taste and manners, even though he may not seem so on TV. The intoxicated toilet paper mummy wandering around the misty hotel coridoors has been the most obscene stunt so far. But he'll soon suffer from a mid-life crisis so I fear the stunts will get rougher and more depressing. You take inspiration from the darker side of rock,Like Black Sabbath. Besides the ocasional Shit.. (i think it says shit..its ** culd be fuck..who knows..) Have you had any classic Spinal Tap moment son the road? If you wish to be a decent rock musician, you must realise that amplifier volume knob goes all the way up to eleven. Apart from that all kinds of spinal tap-style incidents,should be avoided like the black death. What do you do to unwind when not touring? Or is the band a full-time obsession for you all? I can be really obsessed by it from time to time but some how I always manage to find a moment for a bubble bath and tenderness. Extended bubble bath sessions are my speciality, either alone of with my fiancee. Are you treated like Royality in Finland? We are not royality there in the realm of music. We are a road sign towards Black Sabbath and therefore it is good if children find their way hoem through us. Whose idea was it to have Fan's photos on the Dark Light sleeve? It was my idea to have the tattoo pictures on the album sleeve. We've come across many interesting people who love our music and are comitted to our cause for the better world and we wanted them to be part of our album in this fasion. I love tattoos anyway. Its like a meat diary of my rather obscene life. Do you have more female or Male fans?** More like 70/30 in favour of the more fabulous gender. I don't really know what attracts them, But im not complaining. Not complaining at all. Is it still a thrill to mee your heroes and bands that have influenced you/ I've had a chance to meet many people who have influenced me a lot through my life. It is a pleasure and an honour to be in the presence of such radiant beings. I dont think meeting angels ever loses its thrill.

By the way, Linde is the most prolific talker of his "equipment". Next US Tour probably in April and May The next Tour that will lead HIM into the US will probably be in April / May 2006. 09.11.05	Ciao Italy HIM will rock two more dates in Europe. On 07th March 2006 Milano @ Alcatraz & on 08th March 2006 Mestre (VE) @ Palasport you have the chance to see HIM live. Each tickets cost 25,-€ plus fees and they will be available on 11st November at Ticketone. (thanks to heartaclub) Q mag In the current issue of Q mag you can read an one page article about HIM, which is called: “HIM Goths back, Release the bats.” Scan can be viewed here (credit goes to Earl Grey) Front (men`s mag) According to Earl Grey in "Front" (UK) is an 3-page article about HIM. Earl Grey doesn`t study the article in detail but it all looked very naughty and he suggested that the mag should be for over 18`s only!
08.11.05	Dark Light Vinyl The vinyl edition of “Dark Light” has been released today in the US. So if you want this edition, go to your local store. HIM on MTV2 Bam Margera presents HIM on MTV2 @ 9 pm eastern on wed. The show will be broadcast about 30 minutes in the US. More info about this can be found on MTV.com with a little clip of this Making of. Rolling Stone In the current issue of Rolling Stone you can find a report about HIM, which is named something like "Finnish rockers HIM pose with their guitar for charity". Killing Loneliness According to Helsinki Music Company the second single off HIM s Dark Light album is Killing Loneliness. The promo copies will be given out to radio stations in November and the single will be released in January 2006 not in November like it was planed before. 07.11.05	Meet HIM in Toronto on 13.11. HIM will be doing an instore appereance on Sunday, November 13th in Toronto before their sold out show at the Kool Haus. You can meet the band at 03:00 pm at HMV, 333 Young Street.
