Back from Hel(sinki) First of all a happy new year 2005 for you all sweethearts. We just got back from two weeks Helsinki. We really had a great time there. Read in our Review what it was like for us. HIMforfans.de had the opportunity to join in the HIM pressconference on 31.12.2004 in the Scandic Hotel. The conference started at 20.00. Most questions were regarding the future plans of the band and the upcoming CD. There was actually nothing new. Just that funnny story when Ville was asked what the strangest thing was that happend to him in the near past. He answered that he opened the door for an old lady and she was very gratfull by saying "F... You". Isn't that nice? We also did an interview with HIM's manager Seppo Vesterinen the same day. However we didn't find the time yet to get it online. So plz be patient. thx. In the next days we will update some pictures of the pressconference.
Jägermeister party at Tavastia About three weeks ago HIM performed 6 songs at a party in Tavastia Klubi in their hometown Helsinki. The party was organized by Jägermeister. It was great fun for everyone as all the invited people got free Jägermeister. :-)

Valo's Soloalbum According to www.blabbermouth.net : H.I.M. frontman Ville Valo will reportedly record a solo album this year that is expected to be released before the new H.I.M. CD. The solo effort will apparently be inspired by "country" music (PC: say that again???) and Ville's recent work on APOCALYPTICA's "Bittersweet" video, and will include the songs "Under the Rose", "Face of God" and "Have No Fear", which were performed by Valo during a recent live appearance. The new H.I.M. album, which is presently untitled, will reportedly be recorded at the Paramour studio in L.A. with producer Tim Palmer (Ozzy Osbourne, SEPULTURA) and is expected to be released in September/October 2005 via Sire Records. Ville told the Finnish Iltalehti newspaper last week that he will write 13 songs for the album over a two-month period, because "I do my best work under pressure," he reportedly said.
